The goal of this project is to create an art-science collaboration in order to find an alternate way to communicate sustainability problems, as well as explore solutions to these problems. For this 45 minute piece, featuring 6 dancers, 2 pianists, and a scientist, we would like to focus on phosphorus (P)-resource management, as it is an essential element for all life, and plays a crucial role in agricultural production. We plan to present this art-science collaborative project in theaters in Montreal Canada, in secondary, college, and university institutions, dance festivals, as well as scientific conferences and meetings. The goal of this project is to inform the public about phosphorus cycling and management in a way in which they can engage with the information in an intellectual, but also an emotional, visual, and auditory way.
We are currently seeking funding to bring this project to life. If you are interested in partnering with us, please contact us for more information at email@example.com
