The world tells us to strive towards a life that we may never reach (eg. wealth, status & power) and even if some do reach it, often they are still left feeling empty. We've all been raised in some way to believe we'll be rich, a movie star or a rock star, and that life will be easy. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes; working jobs we hate, to buy stuff we don't need. People are more connected to money and what it brings, than to a relationship with God and with others. If you give life a 'second thought' you would see that God is there, you just have to open your eyes.
