Drinks Made Easy Presents-How to make the Boston Sidecar because the New England Patriots couldn't beat the 9-7 New York Giants. And now Gisele Bundchen is in hot water for mouthing off about Tom Brady's teammates. But we digress.
It seems anything that comes out of Boston always has it's own twist and we applaud that about Boston. So it comes as no surprise that Bostonites made their own version of the traditional Sidecar.
To make this cocktail you will need the following:
3/4 oz. White Rum (you can use golden or spiced, it's really up to you)
3/4 oz. Brandy (we used Korbel Brandy)
3/4 oz. Triple Sec
1/2 oz. Lime Juice
First, pour your liquors into a shaker filled with ice. Next, add your lime juice, then cover and shake for 15-20 seconds. Then, in a chilled Martini or Cocktail glass, strain your mixture into said glass and add a lime garnish. There you have it, your Boston Sidecar. GO PATS!!!
PLEASE REMEMBER TO ALWAYS DRINKS RESPONSIBLY
