One of my many timelapse photosets compiled into a movie. This is a 30s clip of a gorgeous 3 minute video.
The session lasted 1hr 16 minutes, consisting of 4573 image files, one snapped every second.
The camera is a Nikon D90 with only a cheap Tamiya 10-22mm wide angle lens at 10mm. Image size set to lowest, but that still alllows a full quality 1080p movie to be made. Frame rate set to 30fps.
Unfortunately the software scrunched the quality down to 9000kbps after asking it to produce at 20,000kbps like the original! It's still reasonable quality though. The original was compiled using VirtualDub and made an excellent movie even with a single pass.
This version uses Live Movie Maker just because VirtualDub still lives in the era of 'Video for Windows' (VfW) and you have to produce an AVI.
At least Movie Maker produces modern universal .MP4 h264 files (and nice fades!)
