Greenland is a gigantic island mostly covered in snow and ice. In pacts the ice can be two miles thick. In this segment we discuss how scientists drill samples of ice all the way to the bottom of the ice cap, and study the length of the ice core for changes in chemistry. These changes can then be interpreted to understand climate variations and change.
