A "contemplative" film on the Buddhist Monastery just North of Auckland, New Zealand, a hidden gem with prayer flags, Buddha statues, stupas and a real feeling of power and tranquility.

This film was made over 3 days on the Nikon D800 DSLR.

Many thanks to Lama Tenzin for his beautiful chant and to the monks of Sherab Ling for the Horns and drums. A special thanks also to “Umzi” Karma Tshering (the resident chant master) who appears in the film.
