Laaltain- Performing Art Society worked with an NGO, Indus Earth Trust, which was part of the Un Grip Project. Their aim has been educate the flood affected villages of Sajawal about environmental degradation and how to combat it in the future. Laaltain's role was to reinforce these teachings of environmental cahange and how they can prevent it in the future by abiding to certain reconstruction methods, hygiene and disposal rules that have been taught to them by Indus Earth Trust. Laaltain believes that theatre is a potent tool that can help reach out to so many people and that is exactly what we hoped to achieve through this performance.
