Japanese architect Kumiko Inui celebrated the launch of the latest issue of JA (Japan Architect 87), which is the first monograph ever dedicated to her work. At the launch, she sketched a scene similar to the JA cover on the window of Nanyodo Bookshop, an architectural bookseller located in the Jinbo-cho district of Tokyo. After, she spoke with JA+U about the important role sketching plays in her architectural design process.
