This is my visualisation of a piece by Eka Chabashvili. It was composed for Shaun Gardiner's script which imagines the despair of a boat of refugees adrift and left to their fate on the ocean - based on reportedly true events. The writer was in turn inspired by a phrase from Neil Gaiman's story The Dream Sweeper. This chain of collaborative creativity was set up by ENO's minioperas competition: so many thanks for the opportunity.
