By Silvanus, a faithful brother as I regard him, I have written briefly to you, exhorting and declaring that this is the true grace of God. Stand firm in it.
(1 Peter 5.12 ESV)

The true grace of God.

What does authentic Christianity, and Christian reality, look like and feel like?

This is the first of a series of talks on 1 Peter.

William Taylor, our Rector, introduces the letter, and expounds the first 12 verses of chapter 1.

The Bible translation we use at St Helen's is the English Standard Version (ESV).

William gave this talk on Sunday, 23rd September, 2012; here at St Helen's, Bishopsgate, to our Sunday-evening congregation.
