Time Lapse of the Space Needle shot with the Contour+2 Camera in photo mode. The camera was mounted on a Joby mini tripod and set to shoot .jpeg photos at 3 second intervals. Contour Photo Mode is rad because it uses far less battery and memory than video, allowing you to shoot for much longer periods of time. It also allows for post process batch editing via Photoshop.
Unfortunately, the plugin I'm using to compile the images into video (TimeLapseAssembler.dmg free download) compresses the quality of the images and adds some noise and grain. Trying to import all the photos directly into Premiere Pro makes it crash, which is why I'm stuck using this Time Lapse Assembler. Anyone have suggestions on a better way to compile them into uncompressed video before importing to Premier? The original photos look super clean and it would be great to find a way to export them to video at the same quality.
