Have you ever thought of running away from it all by taking a job on the furthest edge of civilization? Working On The Edge shows you what you missed, through a journey into the lives of men and women working on the fringes of the world.

Each episode takes the viewer to a distant job in a different part of the globe to explore how people cope with working in extreme isolation. We lean how they live, what they do to pass the time, how they deal with not being in touch with the world, and find the bonds that these conditions create between them.

In episode 1, the crew travels to a base camp of geologists hunting for diamonds in the arctic.
