Guillaume gives a quick overview of his first test project, an SPH fluid solver.
This video gives you an overview on how to build a fast SPH solver (Smoothed-particle hydrodynamics) using Creation Platform. Using the KL language, you can create operators for Fabric Core, the high-performance multi-threading engine, without running any compilation steps, and so it can speed up your work a lot.
The video is also showing how you can work on your solver while tweaking the particle simulation, to get a direct feedback on your code changes. This SPH simulator was implemented in a couple of days without focusing on optimizations. It is only using CPU for now, but it is already showing some good performance results!
Over the next few weeks, we will release the code and some documentation that steps you through the development process.
