Mavis Gallant, the internationally acclaimed, Canadian-born short-story writer, reads from her story 'In Transit'. The reading took place at the Village Voice bookstore in Paris, the city where Gallant has lived for most of her life, on February 19, 2009. The reading was followed by a Q&A session with Jhumpa Lahiri, the Pulitzer Prize-winning, bestselling author of the story collections, "Interpreter of Maladies" and "The Unaccustomed Earth".
