This work is intended to explore the visual qualities of sound textures, providing an experience of generating and mixing electronic music. Our goal was to provide an interface simple enough that could be successfully explored by anyone. Something that could generate interest in any curios and creative mind interested in electronic music environments.
Working with three different electronic styles (Chill-out, Hip-hop and Electro), our visual aesthetic was guided by these and also by some characteristics of physical interfaces from simple sound systems to complex dj desk boards.
