Some call it “folky music”, or “rootsy Americana”. Others call it Country or Alt-Country, but if you ask Matthew Reveles, or the crowds of people who come out each night to cut a rug and have a good time, they’ll simply tell you that it’s good whiskey drinking music.

Reveles, along with Fancy Cloud (his live backing band, comprised of an upright bassist, drummer, and on occasion banjo and/or pedal steel players) can usually be seen tossing them back and getting the audience moving, all the while paying homage to the greats across the board, from Hank Williams to Tom Waits.
