This is a video presentation for the 2012 Paniolo Artisan's Showcase in Waimea, HI. The event was hosted at Pukalani Stables (Parker Ranch) and sponsored by the non-profit organization: Paniolo Preservation

Hawaiian Saddles are unique to the islands, but vary in style from one island to another, and each show the style of the person who handcrafted them. My responsibility was to highlight the unique features of Maui saddles which is the island I am from. I had the opportunity to photograph and interview many different saddles and their owners. Michael Mina graciously contributed audio for the project, which we recorded in my home with an iPhone4. All editing done on a Mac computer.

Photography, video, and audio recording all done by myself on my own equipment: FlipVideo camera, Cannon EOS rebel camera, and iPhone 4 (still photos & audio).
