Pura Vida

What started out as a chance encounter with Alex Brindis at a beachside Barcelona skatepark, turned into a week long rampage over the entire city looking for the best skate spots, beers, and bocadillos! Alex's voyage from Mexico had been hard earned during a recent win in a national circuit put on my Nike SB Mexico. The newly crowned "Rey Chilango" turned out to be equally thoughtful and personable as he was intense and gnarly. He rides hard, ain't scared of much, and has heaps of entertaining stories of his life back in Mexico, were he recently gave up his job as a news reporter to commit to a life where he writes his own story.

Look out for Alex Brindis, and his forth coming segment in Mortal Skateboards' first full length video!

Enjoy
