The Ultimate Staring Contest marks the release of the "HA" t-shirt, an open edition created by Studio Number One. Part of the proceeds from every "HA" t-shirt benefit the Pablove Foundation. In addtion to providing entertainment and joy for children with cancer, Pablove helps raise money for cancer research at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital.

Participating organizations included Dangerbird Records, Spaceland, Use All 5, Kitsune Noir, 826LA, Green Dragon Office, Dublab, URB magazine, LA Record, J-Lep, Poketo, The Directors Bureau, The L.A. Philharmonic, Obey Giant and Studio Number One.

Ultimately, Deborah Kim of the L.A. Philharmonic captured the prize belt, defeating Christina Galante of 826LA in a sudden-death overtime blink-off to cap the championship match.
