* PROMAX Gold winner - Best promotion for a website or interactive service
The promo advertised the launch of a new Channel 4/More 4 online initiative; a website where you can cut out and keep recipes, stockists and information from all Channel 4 shows and across the web in your very own online 'Scrapbook' - scrapbook.channel4.com/
The pre-production involved a serious amount of talent negotiation to get as many Channel 4 celebrities on board as possible, subsequently resulting in 5 different shoot days in different studios, shooting with motion control cameras, quite a challenge with talent time constraints, last minute appearances and in different studios.
We filmed on green screen with various set elements, some 100% real, others constructed in 3D. Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's set actually was a 40ft collapsing barn, whereas Mary Portas's set was a real shop front and 3D environment built around this. Jamie Oliver was filmed on the set of his 15 min meals programme, quite a challenge, but his delicious plate of food had to be shot at no.15 on a separate day! Kirstie's scenes involved a real set and green screen set up for her descent into 'Scrapbook' world.
Envy Post production did an amazing job between 2D, 3D and Flame work to bring it all together.
All in all, a very successful campaign for the website and in conjunction with the recent More 4 rebrand.
