Asheer Akram is a young American sculptor, with Pakistani origins, who visits Armenia for four months to make a metal sculpture to be placed in one of the biggest art museums in Yerevan by the initiative of Art and Cultural Studies Laboratory, Armenia. This work is the embodiment of his ideas about Armenian culture and first impressions of Armenia in general. Quite a challenging task, as this is Asheer’s first visit to this country.
