My family and I took a wonderful vacation to Aruba in late May. My brother, Jonnie, shot an HD video of the full performance the day before we left. He used his Canon 5D Mark II to record video, while I set-up my Zoom H4 portable recorder to capture sound.
*note* I'm having difficulties with properly compressing the HD video from 1080p to 720p - you'll notice that the video is rather blurry. Since Jonnie has a Vimeo Pro account, it's likely that the uncompressed videos will find their way to his site shortly. (vimeo.com/destroytoday) Meanwhile, this is what I'm working with - If I can figure out how to fix this issue, I'll upload the improved videos.

6 months ago In all honesty, I think the focus was my problem for the first 3/4 of the video. The autofocus on the 5D isn't top notch. You should use a different video where I got it right. -
Ben Hallman 6 months agoYea, I plan on "releasing" all of them. I heard the new firmware allows more adjustment with HD video - I'm sure that will help in future recordings. Speaking of which, if you make it out to Chicago or wherever you may go, I'd love to come visit and do some more recordings like in Aruba. :)
