This is underwater footage taken from locations around Newquay Bay and in St Agnes VMCA using a black and white drop-down camera bought from Maplins for about £60! It isn't great quality footage - conversion issues prior to upload - but was undertaken by outputting from a video output in the little CRT TV screen it comes with to an A/D conversion box and then into a laptop. Captions overlaid to tell the viewer where each scene was filmed. This was filmed in 2010-11 and led to us buying the Bowtech camera system, which was the first video uploaded (and yes, I need to upload the higher-res version of that video!). It goes to show what underwater biotope recording you can do with cheap equipment. It is, however, limited to 20m depth so shallow subtidal work really.
