24. A WALK IN THE PARK - DVtec multiRIG Pro + DSLR DEMO
6 months ago
This is short demo of how to handle your DSLR like a "real" S35mm camera. With DVtec MultiRIG Pro there's enough space for a few accessories like external mic or wireless mic receiver. There's an optional Quick Release Tripod Bracket for this rig and it serves it's purpose well.
We had issues with mosqitos but that's another story.
We didn't want to make a tipical demo in studio with light/know how/fat guy and other things that are common for demos. We call this a walk in the park.

50mm f1.2 and 135 f2.0 are worth the price. And I would say it's affordable.

Great demo. But what if you wanted to introduce photography into the mix, a lot of photography. Would you change anything?

HA! great video, and clearly you can see horrible HDV quality from 3 CCD quality --- so blurry.
5D beast is the WINNER all the way ;)

Need to drain your wallet with the new toy a.k.a "follow focus". Great shots, nice footage even with 30fps.

Thx ... I am thinking follow focus on remote for use on steadicam for using low f stops. I don have wife and kids...this is my way of trashing money. Stupid kind a .

    Marko,
    caco si?
Thats all I know apart from the other good words.

I wanted to ask you about the rig and wether you thought there was a major difference between your rig and say, one from Cinecity.com one? (please dont say price, build quailty, design)
They seem to have a similar rig for a quater or the price.
    Surely Aluminum is Aliminum?

Tell us your thoughts on the rig.

Oh by the way, if you had wife/kids you would just be trashing money on them eh? LOL..

Also, did you have a Tilt-Shift Lens on?
You had a Lens on that had a box type mount with it.?

    cheers

Hey, I wanted to ask you, how would you mount a follow focus? I really like this rig but only thing stopping me from buying it is the ability to mount a FF.
  •
  • Marko Butrakovic plus 1 month ago
It can be done but if you would like to use a FF ...well ..I would go for whole package like zacuto or cinevate ... this is very light rig and it is for fast things, fast prime changes...I have a belt with at least 3 prime lenses around me. I need do switch fast between 24mm, 50mm or 135mm ... I couldn't do that with FF and right gears and moving the wheel forwards and back ...
THINK ABOUT zacuto viewfinder...it helps stabilize the damn thing so the focusing on the original prime lens is a bit easier now.
