Sara Mullen, Assoc. Dir. of the ACLU of Pennsylvania and Chris Melody Fields, Election Protection Coordinator for the Lawyer's Committee for Civil Rights Under the Law
Sara Mullen started at the ACLU of Pennsylvania as a 1997 volunteer in its Pittsburgh office.
She joined the staff as the office manager in January 1998 and worked her way up to Assistant Director of the Pittsburgh Chapter in 2000.
Sara transferred to the Philadelphia office in November 2002 and currently heads the Community Organizing Department and oversees the organization's communications program.
She received her BA in Middle Eastern History from the University of Chicago in 1993.
Prior to the ACLU, Sara worked in academic publishing.
Chris Melody Fields serves as the campaign manager for the Lawyers' Committee's Election Protection program working to coordinate coalition efforts and ensure successful implementation of Election Protection programming in order to guarantee voters are informed about their rights and that every vote is counted.
Prior to joining the Lawyers' Committee in December 2011, Fields worked in the government affairs division for a local biological resource center on the global health/biosecurity agenda.
Fields spent two years as the Outreach Director for Common Cause working to advance their democracy reform agenda and pass the Fair Elections Now Act that would create publicly financed campaigns for members of Congress.

October 7, 2012: Rhode Island, Alaska
October 8, 2012: Arkansas, Hawaii, Tennessee, Washington
October 9, 2012: DC, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Colorado, Utah, Louisiana, New Mexico, Arizona, Michigan, Kentucky, Florida, Pennsylvania.
