The Making of a World Record Chalk Drawing

"Small Town Big Vision" tells the story of Mark Wagner and his dream to create the world's largest chalk drawing in defense of arts education in the schools. For two years, Mark and a team of volunteers in Alameda, California worked to make this dream come true. On May 27, 2008, drawing began with thousands of school children. Two weeks later, the massive drawing was complete and received recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records as the "World's Largest Chalk Pavement Art." It measured 90,000 square feet.
