This is the Stanford University 2002 American Parliamentary Debate Association (APDA) tournament's final round, between the Princeton/Brandeis hybrid (a.k.a. "Fresno/Albuquerque") and the Princeton/Yale hybrid.

As Government, Princeton/Brandeis (Emily Garin & Storey Clayton) ran the case that just after the end of apartheid in South Africa, as the Truth & Reconciliation Commission (TRC) was being implemented, the prisons should have been emptied.

Princeton/Yale (Lauren Cusick & Joe Ross) opposed the case. They won the round on a 9-6 (7-5 judge, 2-1 floor) decision.
