Spender and Prefect teamed up with Shinymind for their Kickstarter crowd-funding drive for the launch of Flipbookit. The project ended up being the third highest funded project in the arts section in Kickstarter history after being picked as a "staff favorite" and featured in the Kickstarter weekly newsletter. The video also enjoyed popularity in the blogosphere after being linked to by Wired Magazine, Huffington Post, Geek.com and Technabob. As of this writing, with six days to go, the Flipbookit Kickstarter is 2442% funded with 1695 backers.
