This weekend I got the chance to use a friend's Sony FS700 to do a little slow motion testing.
Few things are better than sports to capture some slo-mo test footage.
The indoor lighting was a bit of a problem because of the flicker it creates when shooting at high fps.
And yes, this ain't a $200- Sony Action Cam. This is 1,000+ times better, as it should be :)

Special Thanks to Ines for allowing me permission to film the FIU Volleyball team,
and Marcus for allowing me to use his amazing FS700!

All slo-mo sequences were filmed at the following settings:
1080p HD at 240fps conformed in-camera to 1080p 24fps clips
Shutter Speed: 1/250s
Aperture: f/3.5 - f/5.6
Focal Length: 18-100mm
ISO: 6400
White Balance: 3500K
Sony FS700 default flat picture profile
All slo-mo clips were hand held

I used the Sony 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 kit lens since I didn't have a Canon Lens adapter, which is why the aperture was at f/5.6 for most of the shots.
Even though the ISO was at a whopping 6400, the ungraded Sony footage had about the same amount of noise as a Canon 5DMKII still image has at ISO 2500 at the same event.

Many people have already used "Intro" by The XX in a lot of videos, especially slo-mo ones, but I thought it would still go well with the footage :)
Hope you enjoy the shots and thanks for watching.
