I picked up the Nikon D600 two days ago and filmed what was going on around me to test out the quality of the video. Everything is shot at ISO 1000 & 2000 with Nikon 50mm 1.4g @ 1.4 handheld, very difficult to maintain focus lol!
Playing around with it I'm surprised of the improvement in quality for both video and stills even at max ISO of 25600 (Hi 2.0) when I compare to the capabilities of the D700 & D7000. Overall I didn't plan on making this, I just had a little fun stitching up some footage of my brother cooking in After Effects & Premiere Pro CS6 and this is the result of it.
