30. Rally for Agata & Valentina Workers

On May 27, community groups, elected officials, and concerned shoppers rallied outside of Agata & Valentina on the Upper East Side of Manhattan to support workers who are trying to form a union. One worker, Roberto De La Cruz, was fired by the niche grocer for trying to exercise his right to form a union.
