The Quique Dacosta Restaurant is a two Michelin star restaurant in Denia near Valencia and Alicante. It is owned and run by the very talented chef Quique Dacosta. He is one of the stars of Spanish cooking and maybe his food and restaurant may become as famous as El Bulli one day. It is also one of the World's Best Top 50 restaurants theworlds50best.com/ coming in at number 40 this year.
I was here as part of a job for Food & Travel magazine doing a feature on the top 10 foodie things to do in the Valancia area.
They very kindly let me put a GoPro camera in the kitchen to record a timelapse and I photographed the food as it came out. Not all 37 courses but some of them. It was at night so the light was terrible and was forced to use my flash which I never like doing but they came out quite well. The precision of the food complemented the contrast of the flash.
