6-person Outrigger canoe race off the california coast at Ventura Harbor. This a race put on By Southern California Outrigger Racing Association, and Hokuloa Outrigger Canoe Team.
The race is a triangle course starting at the Harbor mouth. First heading Northwest up the coast. From there turning out to sea. The second turn was about 40 min for first place lanakila. The final turn is a red harbor marker . The footage was shot from the water by myself in an Epic housing with an HV30 and a .65 wide lens. Thanks to Billy Whitford droping me off at each of the three turns. There is only footage of the mens race this time. I do not know the official results for this race. Check the SCORA site for results, and how to find a club in your area.

    Looks great! Unfortunately, this does not play as well on my computer as it should. LOVE the intro! Water and sky and all the colors look vivid. Great shots close to the boats. I am not a paddler, but you have made this sport look very appealing.

    This stuff is so cool. Are you able to turn off your ''steadyshot'' or O.I.S.? Cause those waterdrops on your housing makes kinda seasick haha:D. I always think it looks better without that stuff bouncing around...actually looks way steadier.
