Forgot to mention, the .blend file is now up in the blenderartists (dot) org forums in a thread in the tests section named "Ben's Flame Tests"

That is really cool. I wondering if I can use that with Icarus and how it might show up. (icarus is like voodoo)

Oh my! O_o I've been watching all of your flames since you began fiddling with them and this one really caught me. It's so amazing! The colors did a great addition to our subconscious. But still, the emmision is a bit turbulent. But nevertheless, I could have been speechless if I wasn't right now. Uber amazing!

Reynante - I agree about the emission at the base. Originally the fire was 'stuck' inside a blowtorch nozzle so I wasn't too fussed about how it came out. However, it should be possible with texture nodes or a ramp to tone the displacement down at the base. I hope to keep fiddling and sharing the results as it is proving to be a lot of fun!

There is no full tutorial yet, but the forum thread on BlenderArtists has the .blend file for this flame and a bit of discussion / basic details.
