On Oct. 13th 2012, the YMCA is making history by simultaneously holding events in 80+ countries worldwide to celebrate its commitment to empower young people everywhere. More than 500 events will express the unique diversity found in each country where the YMCA is present, as we connect with each other to celebrate ONE global family. The Y-PASS was created by compiling videos shot and submitted by YMCA movements from all around the world. The Y-PASS shows the power and depth of the YMCA movement. Through play and action we are all committed to stand side-by-side with young people and to empower them by creating spaces of transformation and impact in local contexts worldwide.
