This showreel displays my compositing work for visual effects and animation. The breakdown is as follows:
00:06 --- Shot 1:
A shot for MA student film 'Gone.' My contribution includes matte painting, tracking, match moving and grading. Software: Photoshop, After Effects and Mocha.
00:26 --- Shot 2:
Olly on the beach. A green screen shot I put together. Filmed using my NEX-5. Post production in After Effects.
00:37 --- Shot 3:
House on Bodmin Moor. A shot for 'Gone'. Matte painting. Camera movement created using an expression linked to the tracking of real camera movement. Software: Photoshop and After Effects.
00:51 --- Shot 4:
'Harry the crab' Self initiated modelling project I did in my the first year of animation at UCF. I modelled, textured and rendered this in Maya.
00:54 --- Shot 5:
Harry the crab placed into a live action scene. I made this recently using MatchMover, Maya and After Effects. I recorded the Live action plate using my Sony NEX-5.
00:59 --- Shot 6:
A city shot for 'Kernel', followed by a composite breakdown. Kernel was our final major film project at UCF (University College Falmouth) on the BA Digital Animation course. I used Nuke and After Effects for compositing.
01:13 --- Shot 7:
A close up shot of Leonard picking a seed for 'Kernel', followed by a composite breakdown.
