I was in San Francisco for a convention. The entire week had been filled with preparing for presentations, giving talks, meeting clients, lunches, meetings, those kinds of things. When it was over on Friday we headed straight for Haight Street, the Milk Bar and anything else we could find. And if the tattoo guy hadn’t refused to tattoo us I would now be walking around with space invaders on my arm and Guillermo would have a Pac Man ghost on his ankle. The next day we were sitting on a park bench, nursing massive hangovers, with a take-out box from Whole Foods and a quart of coconut juice. In front of us a man walked out onto the grass. He took a stack of frisbees out of his bad and started stretching. That first long throw, the trying to catch, the practice dives. Pretty unbelievable, right? Anyway, every once in a while life hands you a gift. This time I shot it with my iPhone, but it just goes to show you, you should really always carry a (video) camera. Who is this? The loneliest man in San Francisco…
