During the Summer of 2011, I made this animation as part of the creative prompt "Inanimate Objects in an Office Come to Life." I wanted to make a small twist on the usual archetypes and not use any humanoid facial expressions or gestures. The goal was, as the objections slowly awaken, the viewer's sympathy with them to also surface and develop. Through framing, lighting, and music I attempted to personify excitement, hope, loneliness and, eventually, disappointed.
I did all aspects of the video. Audio is attributed to Kevin MacLeod.
