May 2012 saw me celebrating my birthday in what has now become traditional fashion: admiring the view from the summit of Langjökull Glacier in Iceland.

My friends Rob and Einar at are experts at organising snowkiting adventure tours to Iceland. For the past 10 years they've been helping everyone from brand new kiters, to world champion freestyle riders, find snow-kiting Valhalla at the peak of the glacier. Near 24 hour daylight, and rock solid catabatic winds mean that in the last 4 years I've only had three days on which I couldn't fly.

Do yourself a favour - get in touch with Rob or Einar and book your place for May 2013.

I found the music in this edit in Vimeo's music store:

"High School Snaps" by Broke For Free -

The majority of the footage in was filmed with my 5Dmk3, although there are some shots from earlier years (5Dmk2) and from other people's cameras (ContourHD, GoPro, etc).

Special thanks to Mark Esper, Max Smith, and Sean Rose for additional footage used in this edit.

Please take a look at my new project:

I am now able to offer Arri Amira hire at significantly reduced rates for projects where I can accompany the camera and either assist or shadow an experienced Director of Photography. Please don't hesitate to contact if you have an interesting project for which you need equipment.
