On Monday May 2, Palm Springs Unified School (PSUSD) District presented the 3rd annual DIGICOM Film Festival. Free screenings of films produced by teachers and students in the Palm Springs Unified School District were presented.

The festival's theme was "Make a Difference." There were films about people who make a difference, what you can do to make a difference, and projects in the community that make a difference. There were also short films and music videos to round out the evening.

More than 1,100 students and teachers from 17 schools worked to submit over 300 films to a four-member panel of judges. The judges reviewed the films, choosing the top 30 to be featured in the festival.
