In the fourth episode of SAUCE'D Season 1, NYC Chef Frank Prisinzano oversleeps after a lengthy romp through the halls and bottle of Vinitlay and almost misses a very special visit to an organic cheesemaker in Cremona. Lago Scuro, an ancient family-run estate, is producing small batch organic cheeses, handmade salumi, and artisanal beer. Luca Graselli alongside his father, Fabio, is dedicated to resurrecting their ancestral agriturismo on principles of sustainability and slow food. Frank arrives late but still gets an exclusive tour of the caves and learns a bit about how authentic provola cheese is made.
