light chasm is a collaborative audio / visual performance with the very talented Flutter Lyon on vocals and guitar ( viewofcourage.com ) and myself on visuals.

with less then a week to prepare, we decided to go with a black and white theme and matched the clothes chosen for the performance to became part of the projection surface. even Robyn's guitar got a face lift, radiating black and white rays which also carried over into the projection.

the visuals were custom built for the performance and all hand coded in openframeworks. rather then using a vj software i wanted to build a bespoke visual application from scratch. the final app reacted to audio and was fully controlled from the iphone through OSC.
