did you hook up gamecontrollers to vdmx?? what parameters did you sync the controller to??
yep, gamecontrollers, with the "sticks" rotating the movies in 3D space, the 4 direction-buttons for changing clips. special effects(contrast-boost, size-by-sound-level, ...), modifications(switch between sound-level-movie-scratch and normal-play mode, ...) on the other buttons.
one controller on each layer, but it seems, two layers is too much most of the time. except for certain combinations of clips.
for live-vjing we have also used a wii-controller, with the idea in mind to vj while dancing, which ran very well on one occasion, but badly unreliable ever since.
