This is a video of a Processing applet that interfaces with the ChucK virtual machine to create audio-visual particle systems. Every video frame, ten randomly chosen circles are sonified by a granular synthesis algorithm in the ChucK programming language. The X axis of the video plane determines the pitch of the sound grains, while the Y axis determines the volume of the grains.
