This short was created during a 48 hour film competition put on by the 48 Hour Film Project folks and sponsored by a Fair Trade Coffee Co-Op called Equal Exchange. As is typical with these sorts of competitions there were specific elements we had to include. The prop: Two sacks of coffee beans. The line of dialogue: "It doesn't have to be that way". The character: Mega Foods CEO Rick Dickinson. The randomly selected genre: Musical.
The theme: Sustainability.
As a songwriter I'm particularly proud of this piece because the deadline was so intense and the needs of the song were so specific. Hope you enjoy.
