1 ½ years ago, Ken has organised a romantic getaway to New Zealand for their 8th year anniversary, where
he finally pop the question to Emily.
Having to love the cold weather and snow so much they had decided to get married during the cold winter month of July. It was a freezing experience to us starting our shoot on 3.00am in the morning during Australia’s early winter, I think it was the very first earliest shoot we ever had.
Ken & Emily had their Wedding the western way at Curzan Hall, a romantic Castle Garden Wedding ever. We were amazed when Ken shown us to the venue the first day when we arrived Sydney, it was just wordless, the landscape, the environment, the “space” we need to cover tomorrow.
The moments was just precious to us, we felt like home although we were 3,000 over miles from home. We still see Chinese traditions being practice by the couple’s family, the gate crash game, the praying ceremony, the tea ceremony, the “Guo Li” traditions, not a thing less. And to our surprise, there were even Lion Dance performance during the reception.
We felt the joy and happiness, and we are certain the guest felt the same too. The event is just full of surprises and excitement. We acknowledge the effort spend on organizing this spectacular event, wait till you see Ken’s dance for his bride, which he claims that he had no time to practice, but it was just splendid. Thumbs up to Ken and his buddies, missed you guys already.!!
We’ve had a smile on our face from the moment we shoot them till we edit the footage till completing this video. This is why we choose this song, “Happy” by Secrets in Stereo. We were just overflowed with the happiness they’ve brought to us, and we hope Ken & Emily will be the same. Happily ever after.!!
