On episode 6 of Culture Wire, it's all about San Francisco's young artists.

Luis Cancel goes to the Mission to meet the members of Loco Bloco. The after-school program teaches percussion and dance to students aged 5 to 18. Every May, Loco Bloco performs in the Carnival Parade in the Mission.

WritersCorps is an after-school literary program that teaches youth how to express themselves through poetry and creative writing. WritersCorps celebrated its 15th anniversary with an evening of readings at the San Francisco Main Library.
