After recording hundreds of sounds an SC4 Plug In, G Verb, Hard Limiter, Reverb, Leveller, Phaser, Flanger, Pitch Shifter, WahWah were used before fine tuning the LFO Frequency for each individual sound effect I recorded to use for Starks heavy machinery.
One of the greatest challenges was removing the "bounce" in the sound of Stark walking in the flight stabilizers. In the end -and it was done cleanly- the resounding crunch has a nice sterile quality, and it is more natural.
Balancing out the thrust of Stark's boots, flight stabalizers, and hand cannon each required stacking certain effects after treating them with the aformentioned colorization to make them sound believable, and not like a cheap imitation.
