This anonymous theorbo arrangement of a French folk song(?) "The groom and the bride" comes from manuscript Res-1106, Bibl. Nat., Paris, fol. 20v-21r. The instrument is "Théorbe de pieces" in d (a'=392). Actually I have stringed and tuned my archlute (Stephen Barber, 1987) to a high theorbo.
