Leonardo/Olats, in collaboration with IMéRA, organized in June 2012 a two day workshop on the theme "Water is in the Air" as part of the StudioLab European project.
Ana Rewakowicz explores here the anti-entropic role of art in the service of designing the world. The vehicle for this journey will be art and the steering wheel the concept of design-science developed by Buckminster Fuller.
Through various examples she demonstrates the collaborative spirit of art and science and use her recently produced piece entitled "The Cloud" as an example and a metaphor of the interconnectedness between nature, humans and the environment, where water is literally in the air.
This video recording of Ana Rewakowicz presentation is part of the audiovisual proceedings of the workshop.
